It has the advantages of simple sample preparation, non-destructive, high detection sensitivity, and no special requirements for sample size and water content

ATR method operation steps are as follows:

1) Place the sample directly between the crystal of the ATR attachment and the thimble, and attach the flat side to the ATR crystal

2) Tighten the hand twist to test the sample. Then it is tested by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and obtained

The spectrogram of the sample is obtained and then qualitative analysis is carried out according to the characteristic peak of the infrared spectrum.

Note: ATR accessories can also be used to test conventional liquid and solid powder samples.
